This morning, we had a chance to meet our Global Solutions Project's groupmates from different countries with various cultural backgrounds. We became closer and got to know each other through games like 'energy ball' and 'cross the line', which help us to understand and respect cultural differences. After that, we had our first lesson, story telling by hip hop. It was a great chance for us to get into contact with hip hop styled music like You Got Me and Kick Push. After understanding more about Hip Hop music, we composed and sang a rap song in front of the class. It was a hard time for our group since we seldom have rapping experiences. However, we finally managed to rap our outcome. Besides, we also joined a house activity of treasure hunt and team up students all around the world. We ran to different attractions in Stanford campus in order to complete missions, like taking photos. Through this process, we became better friends with them and exchange our cultures as well. We feel like it will be great to work with them. After an exhausting day, we had dinner in the dining hall and went back to French House for house activities and meetings so as to be prepared for tomorrow.
