To start the day, we went to the California Academy of Science. Our group had a amazing experience visiting the aquarium. Steinhart Aquarium is one of the most biologically diverse and interactive aquariums on Earth. It’s the home to nearly 40,000 live animals, representing more than 900 unique species, it offered us an unprecedented view of underwater and terrestrial habitats. From species displayed nowhere else in the world to exhibitions on cutting-edge research in little-known ocean ecosystems, a visit to Steinhart Aquarium is full of discovery.
After a short ride, we then arrived at the Golden Gate Bridge. The weather was foggy and freezing, through the fog we see the mysterious bridge stood in solemn, we sit on an bench and take turns to take pictures.
Pier 39 is the next station, we took our time shopping hoodies, keychain, magnets and much more. We also had fabulous cuisines, such as chocolate churros, waffles tea and coffee.
Heading back to Stanford, there’s more exciting activities waiting for us — tie dye!
We used our imagination and creativity to dye colourful shirts from a white plain one. Shortly after that, our friends in Philippines invited us to sing along with them. We sang classical songs such as love story and trendy songs such as seƱorita.
Thinking back, it is the most unforgettable day for all of us, we harvest knowledge outside of school, as well as friends from all around the world.
