12th July 2019 Group 6
In the class on clinical neuroanatomy, we learnt about the human nervous system and related diseases such as hydrocephalus and meningitis. The lecturer consolidated our biology knowledge and taught us new medical terms with the aid of vivid pictures and video.
Second design thinking class was conducted by Professor William Scott. The most impressive theory on design thinking is the five steps of thinking, which are having empathy to the users, defining the problem, generating ideas, building prototype and lastly testing. We also applied the theory and brainstormed ideas on ways to establish and operate a restaurant. We all think that this class was very helpful to us as it facilitates the completion of our GSP project. After the design thinking class, we had our second GSP meeting, which we discussed the name, history and core values of our own island. Our group mates all gave wonderful and creative ideas which we could not think of.

Last event of the day was multicultural exhibition. We set up our own booths to promote Chinese culture through teaching Chinese knots. Other group mates from Cyprus, Brazil and Indonesia etc. prepared lots of attractive traditional food, beautiful accessories and amusing performances.
The atmosphere was gorgeous! Even though it gets cooler at night, out hearts felt so warmed as we all gathered and cheered for each other. We will definitely treasure the moments spent with friends around the world and it was absolutely an unforgettable night!
