At around 10:00, we had our group photo taking section. We took various pictures outside of the Catholic Community At Stanford, the park with Stanford logo, and the water fountain. We spent around one and a half hour taking group photos for the school magazine at the end of the school year. Though it was dazzling sunny and some of us got skin-burnt, we enjoyed our time with our friends.
^^ we took photos in front of the church
^^ This is the photo we took in the area around the statues
We further went to Synergy House for the Field Day activities in the afternoon . Just as we arrived, we already felt the excitement when we saw the set up of the games. We were separated to our different GSP groups to compete with each other. The most memorable activities was the spoon race. We had to use a spoon to transfer a ping pong within the group. We won the game and we were so happy to celebrate it! Our friendships were strengthened and we also learned to collaborate with groupmates. After this, we had a water balloon dodgeball fight. It was so intense that most of us got wet. Despite the wetness, we had a really great time.
^^ we played jenga with our GSP groups and won!!!
After the water balloon fight, we went to the Stanford Shopping Centre. The mall was very big and it was located outdoors, which allows us to explore new places except from those we were used to. We went to Abercrombie & Fitch and Urban Outfitters to buy clothes. The experience was great as it was our very first time to shop and hang around in America!
We had our dinner in the shopping mall, The Melt. It was the first dinner we had outside the canteen and we enjoyed it so much. We ate mouth-watering melted cheese burgers and drank tasty milkshakes. The food was extremely good! This would be one of the best meal we had in Stanford.
^^we were writing the blog after the exhausting day
