13th July, 2019 (Group 1)
Today is the day we went to San Francisco for sightseeing. First, we went to the Cal Academy of Sciences, which is a museum full of fascinating exhibits and showrooms.

The most fascinating one we visited was the swamp exhibition, it showcased different swamp animals as well as their natural habitat.

There, we saw a crocodile which is albino. It was very beautiful yet tragic since without its natural camouflage it cannot survive in the harsh world

Then, we went to the Golden Gate Bridge, a historical must-see landmark of San Francisco.

Unfortunately, it was cloudy and foggy which covered much of the bridge's glory. However, we were still immensely satisfied with visiting this architecture monument

Then, we went to Pier 39, a waterfront complex that is a gathering place for millions of locals and visitors alike. It is known for its spectacular views of the Golden Gate Bridge, Bay Bridge and Alcatraz, as well as the world famous California sea lions hauled out on K-Dock.

It is also famous for its many shops and restaurants. We enjoyed our time shopping there and had a lot of fun visiting different shops that sold immensely unique and delicately crafted items

All in all in was an extremely packed and exciting afternoon. We learnt to be responsible, not only looking after ourselves and our own belongings, but out fellow group mates as well. It was a rewarding and gratifying experience.
