15/7/2019 Group 3

Today was the seventh day of our Stanford Tour, we had continued been to excellent and engaging places and having fun lessons! We had loads of interesting events which you would never be able to think of them! Let's explore more on our packed but interesting events.

First of all, we visited the Digital Anatomy Laboratory located in Stanford University. You would not believe what we had experienced! We first had a lecture on the running of the Division of Clinical Anatomy which granted us deeper understanding on the different ways of studying Anatomy. That's surely engaging and amazing!  We learnt more about cadaver by watching dissected human body parts, like the organs involved in the digestive system, liver and the brain. We all took the initiative to touch and pay much attention to the introduction of different organs and their functions. The high technology has made the anatomy easier for medical students and brought us into wonder. For example, there was a dissection table which showcased the dimensions of human virtual images, and with the support of different case studies, we could easily understand anatomy nowadays. This was really an unforgettable and valuable experience!

Moreover we went to the visual storytelling class, it was really exciting as we all engaged in the photography. We  learnt to tell stories with imagination or based on excellent pictures. We also went to different places to facilitate our learning process, such as the Hoover Tower.  We all participated proactively and we really enjoyed being in this class. We were all immersed in the world of photography which stirred our imagination.
