To start our day, we visited the digital anatomy lab. The anatomy table shows vivid pictures of the human body. The technology was so advanced which allows us to learn various structures of human systems. The Anatomy table also records informative clinical cases like separation of conjoined twins and availability of surgery. We also saw cadaver and preserved body structures such as brains and digestive system. We even touched them and examined different body organs. We had a deeper understanding on how the body works.
In the afternoon, we joined the effective leadership class. To start off our lesson, we first did an activity about realizing our own personality and thoughts. She invited us to write down our own “stories” and the resulting “reality”. We reflected on our past experiences and decided to stay positive.
Right after the leadership class, we went to Synergy and had our 3rd GSP meeting. This time we used our computer to do some research on topics such as identity, environmental sustainability, human rights and economic development. After some discussions and negotiations, we presented our ideas to our group mates and came up with some solutions for our island.
