16-7-2019 Group 3

We started our day with a business class. Though all of our members of our group take economics instead of business, the course actually intrigued our desire to explore more about business in real world. We learnt about multi-national enterprises and trade wars. The case study about introducing of electronic ordering kiosks in KFC also triggered our critical thinking and prompt us to think more in a business mind through creating business strategies.

After lunch, we had a mock trial class which we have prepared for 2 days. We were so thrilled about it. Initially, all of us thought that the whole process was very formal and serious, yet the attitude and professionalism of the teacher proved us wrong; along the trial, the teacher reminded us of the details we forgot and what we could improve. There were laughter along the trial and we all had so much fun. Although the result was a draw due to an equal votes for both plaintiff and defense sides, we still enjoyed the process and we really explored a lot about mock trial. While we were preparing the mock trial, we learnt how to think in different perspectives and strategies to analyze the case. This is actually a real life case, which prompt us to be more engaged in coming up with arguments.

We ended our night in a high note; which was the fire pit night. We took a lot of photos with our friends under the shimmering, mesmerizing sunset. Other than that, we made s'mores and sang songs together.

We truly enjoyed the days here and had a valuable experience and this memory will arguably never fade.
