17/7/2019 Group 2
During the first course, we have learnt the advantages and disadvantages of face recognition technology. I think this course was so inspirational as it strengthened both my critical and logical thinking as we had a debate. My group mates and I had taken part as citizens, that we all agreed that face recognition does more harms than good when further developed. The reason is that the citizens may feel insecure and cannot further build on their Maslow's hierarchy, leading to social discontent and lowering their sense of belonging to the nation.
During the second course, I must say that it was so fun. We made use of our WhatsApp messages to write a poem! At first, I thought it must be a dumb poem and probably irrelevant. However, it eventually came out as a so-called masterpiece. Sometimes, we do not have to think to much for a writing. Writing by heart, which is called ‘flow’, may be the best.
At the end of the day, we discussed our GSP with other GSP groups. I really appreciated their ideas, especially ‘organic farming’. There was no doubt that the best way to deal with problems is to find the main cause of it. To conclude, today was an exhausting but meaningful day.
