Group 5
16th July 2019
To start up our day, we attended a lesson learning about photography skills. In this lesson, we learnt about the three basic elements of taking pictures— light, composition and story. After learning the theories, we then walked around the campus and apply newly learnt knowledge in practice. For example, we took photos in the Hoover Tower and the Memorial Church. All these spots are amazing and the pictures record our precious times in Stanford.

After the lunch, we had our international business class and we learnt more about the theories of business for example operation aims and models of firms. Moreover, we looked at a case study about application of technology in increasing profit of restaurants. We evaluated the pros and cons of installation of Kiosk in KFC and proposed some solutions. Even though most of us did not take business in school but we had so much fun during the lesson! It stimulates our business minds and encouraged us to start a business too!
Later, we attended the admission talk to understand more about the process and requirement in order to enter the Stanford University. We have listened to many useful and practical advice from both the admission officer and the college students for our preparation to college.

As we were having dinner, we anticipated the firepit night and thought that it would be enjoyable and fun. It turned out to be really interesting and relaxing. We got to roast marshmallows, take beautiful pictures with our international friends and listen to songs played by guitars. We enjoyed ourselves and had a great evening with everyone. Today was definitely a fruitful day. Although were exhausted but will treasure these moments forever.
