Today
my group mates and I went to the digital anatomy lab and had a lesson on visual
storytelling through photos.
In the
morning, after a long and exhausting walk, we arrived at the digital anatomy
lab, where we had a lecture in the lab about the history of dissecting a body
and the new technology that could help. Then we could have the chance to
actually view and touch an actual organ, this was an once in a life time
experience for me, and my group mates, as we never had a chance to experience
something as interesting and exciting as holding a human brain in my hands.
In the
afternoon, we had a lesson on photography, in which we learnt about telling a
story in a picture and how to use different techniques, like filling the frame
or using a reference line to take amazing photos. Then we went onto the Hoover
tower, the highest building in Stanford, to take photos. It was amazing up
there, but the winds are very strong and I was afraid that my phone will be
blown away and fall off the building. In the end, we went down to the location
of the church to take more photos and eventually made a slideshow about it, it
was surely an engaging lesson.
