14th July 2019 Group 4

This morning, we walked to multiple locations to take group photos like the church, the fountain and the oval. We were really excited to take pictures in these new places as we took many pictures from these stunning sceneries. We enjoyed being surrounded by flowers and the buzzing of bees. Although it was really hot, it was really an amazing experience to have a chance to walk around this beautiful campus.

After lunch, we headed over to Synergy House to play a series of team building games. Although our team did not win, we still gained valuable skills and experiences. We cooperated with our teammates whom we did not know very well and we worked towards a common goal. We felt really inspiring and exciting to work with our GSP groupmates in a competitive and tense setting. We gained valuable experience and learned more about our teammates from different countries.

Afterwards, we went to the Stanford shopping mall. There were many different stores. Through going to the mall, we broadened our perspectives on American culture by experiencing what they do and shop every day. We learnt more about their culture, and it felt really exciting. Being surrounded by brightly lit shops and learning to talk to the cashier in English was really challenging.  It was an unforgettable day as we learnt more about our teammates and our culture.
